Piper and Elliot portraits

I recently bought some backdrops and a flash and thought I'd have a practice at doing some portraits. My neighbours were kind enough to lend me their kids for the morning and we had a lot of fun.

I have known Piper and Elliot since they moved in as a cheeky 4 year old and even cheekier 2 year old. 6 years later and they're lovely friendly kids who are great neighbours. Here are a few of my favourite shots from the session. Elliot, being a typical little boy didn't want to sit too close to his sister because 'she smells'. He'd been off colour all week so wasn't too keen on smiling for the camera but he still looks so cute. And Piper was an absolute natural in front of the camera, even telling me how she should pose.
