I rarely have the chance to photograph young adults and I took the opportunity recently with my beautiful niece Helen. A gorgeous girl and some gorgeous afternoon light. Here are a few of my favourite images from the session, it was so hard to choose!

Sweet Little Sisters

Hayley and I were friends at work in a life before husbands and children. I was so excited when she contacted me to take her family photos, excited to see her again after all these years, excited to meet her husband and her two daughters.

It's so lovely to see a friend after a few years and she hasn't changed in the slightest. Hayley is an amazing wife and mum, she is one of the sweetest, kind and down to earth people I have met. I had a fantastic morning with her family at the beach.

Lily and Ivy, you girls have really stolen my heart!

Back to Work

So it seems a lot of people are heading back to work today after a lovely break over the Christmas/NewYear period. I haven't heard too many people are happy about it so I thought I'd post a bright and happy image for all those heading back to work today.

This week I decided to upgrade my phone and got myself a lovely new iphone. The first thing I installed was the Instagram application and I'm in love! I love how easy it is to capture fun, candid moments and I can take it anywhere. So much fun. You can follow my Instagram addiction - kathrynjewkes
